OBJECTIVE

Ride the cage up the shaft and out of Number Nine Pit.

The cage is padlocked, the lever stands outside it, and a very large canary in a helmet stands between you and both. The daylight is the easy part.

Good morning, contestants, and welcome to Number Nine Pit, where the air is thin, the canary is enormous, and the exit is a cage with a padlock and a very firm opinion about who gets to ride it. Your calling is Shot-Firer, so please try not to light anything you cannot personally afford.

HOW IT WORKS

Everyone in the world gets the same room today, with the same keeper, the same objective and the same three-item kit.

You have five turns. Each turn you type one sentence describing what you do.

An AI Dungeon Master picks the stat and the difficulty before the die moves, the server rolls a d20 in the open, and what happens next follows from the roll.

Escape the room and you win. Then you get a result worth sharing, and you come back tomorrow.
